Client: The Historic Gettysburg Hotel

The renown Gettysburg Hotel, Est. 1797 is the crown jewel in Gettysburg’s Lincoln Square. For more than 200 years, the hotel has played host to guests from all walks of life including politicians, celebrities and artists. Today the Hotel stands as one of Gettysburg’s most beloved landmarks. In the Summer of 2010, the Gettysburg Hotel charged 3rd Idea with the task of building an awareness of the hotel through social media.

We quickly got to work and produced a plan that included promotion of Gettysburg’s downtown, events and nightlife through a hotel blog: Gettysburg Getaway, now one of Gettysburg’s most popular sites for vacation planning. Additionally, 3rd Idea over-sees all of the Hotel’s social media including Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and email campaigns.
